Scott Cannady, a native of Philadelphia, PA, began his life as a professional musician at the age of 16, touring with the legendary Stylistics, and he hasn’t stopped since.

He is an accomplished bassist, producer and songwriter, as he has written for several projects with a wide variety of genres. To name a few: Gladys Knight’s Grammy Award winning CD “One Voice,” Pieces of a Dream’s “In Flight” and “Bout’ Dat Time,” Lori Jenaire’s CD “Fruition” and “Within Reach.” Currently, Scott is producing a new Gladys Knight CD, a tribute collection of the the legendary jazz organist Johnny “Hammond” Smith, as well as working with up and coming artists.
